Vol. 2: Stories of Disability
In the second edition of the Oral History Magazine, interviewers sought out storytellers who had experiences with disabilities. Five chapters approach stories of disability from the perspectives of those who identify as having a disability and those who work with students with disabilities. Each chapter is written by the student researcher who planned, conducted, and transcribed the interview.
Below you will learn about the experiences working with students with disabilities in school, navigating disabilities themselves, becoming an advocate for people with disabilities, working in support services at Bloomfield College of Montclair State University, and growing up in Newark and moving away.
